The instructor will will cover 4 broad categories: Prostate Anatomy and functioning, symptoms and diagnosis of prostate cancer, post intervention considerations on sexual health and the role of mental health providers in the penile rehabilitation process.

        Describe the basic anatomy and function of the prostate.
        Name the different intervention a person with prostate cancer may be intervene with and how that impacts sexual functioning.
        Describe what is meant by "penile rehabilitation" and name at least 2 ways in which mental health providers can help with this process.

        Leonardo Candelario Perez, PhD, LP

        Latinx Licensed Clinical Psychologist

        Leonardo Candelario-Perez is a Latinx, gender non-binary identified, bilingual clinical psychologist in Minnesota. They acquired their PhD in 2015 from Albizu University in San Juan, PR. In 2018 Dr. Candelario-Perez completed a two year postdoctoral fellowship, at the now, Institute for Sexual and Gender Health, University of Minnesota Medical School.
