This presentation will explore how the multiple dimensions of life and sexuality impact intimacy across the life span and shape an individual's ability to navigate intimacy within their individual and collective relationships.

        What You’ll Learn in this Course

        Explore how the multiple dimensions of life impact intimacy by discussing the dynamics of individual and collective biopsychosocial perspectives and other social determinants and internal and external influences.
        Recognize how the current narrative regarding intimacy ties into intimacy issues and sexual dysfunction by exploring and deconstructing the existing societal narratives in media, culture, etc.
        Explain how trauma impacts an individual's ability to form intimate relationships by exploring stages of development.
        Create a new definition for intimacy that deconstructs the current narrative in society, and offers a more holistic perspective.
        Identify ways individuals can explore intimacy within their lives and relationships by thinking outside of the existing framework and current narrative for intimacy.
