Join Dr. Janet Brito for this 6-hour Group Supervision Program The program has been designed to empower you with a deeper understanding of your own processes, enabling you to offer more adept guidance and support to your clients as they navigate their sexual health concerns, personal experiences, and unique needs.

WHO IS GROUP SUPERVISION FOR?

Group Supervision is open to current students and alumni of the Certificate in Sexual Health Program seeking to obtain clinical supervision in the area of sex therapy.

Whether you are seeking AASECT certification or a dedicated counselor-in-training seeking to expand your knowledge, skills, and network, this group is designed to nurture your growth and foster collaboration.

It is essential that you have an active clinical caseload.

  • Examine your world view, your clients’ world views, your own intersectional identities and how this impacts your work with your clients.
  •  Identify your values that influence your practice; learn to apply ethical and legal guidelines to specific cases.
  • Strive to develop and maintain self-awareness in the area of cultural humility, which includes one’s attitudes, knowledge, and skills.

IS INDIVIDUAL SUPERVISION AVAILABLE?

Dr. Brito only offers group supervision to current students and alumni of the Certificate in Sexual Health Program. If you are working toward AASECT certification, you will need a primary AASECT Supervisor. Here is a list of approved AASECT supervisors.
